the clerk to the board

The Clerk is the officer of the governing board, is appointed by the governing board and is independent of the management of the college.

The role of the clerk, as stated previously, is to ensure that the governing board
  • operates within its powers
  • follows agreed and proper procedures
  • conducts its business efficiently and effectively.
The responsibilities of the Clerk are set out in the Instrument and Articles of Government.
