Summary
Held 31 October 2006 This is a summary of the key findings from the first Good Governance Forum, held in London on the 31st October 2006 as part of CEL's and AoC's Leadership Skills for Governance programme. The forum was attended by 200 governors and other senior leaders within FE. With support from Becta and Toshiba, technology provided delegates with access to a forum blog which collated their policy contributions on the day. These inputs were fed back to a forum panel of key policy makers drawn from across the sector. Bill Rammell MP, Minister of State for Lifelong Learning, Further and Higher Education also addressed the forum and confirmed that he will consider the outcomes which derive from the day. At his invitation, this summary will be sent to Bill Rammell for his consideration.
