Introduction

The Leadership Skills for Governance (LSG) team continues its successful series of governance consultations by offering the above 4 events which focus on skills and working more closely with employers.

The Summit

Each event will provide you with an opportunity to:

  • Hear what key national agencies (e.g. DfES, LSC, RDA, SSDA, Business Link, CBI, IoD and CEL) are doing to take forward the Leitch Report recommendations
  • Contribute to a strategic discourse with fellow governors, principals, key stakeholders and national players
  • Exchange views on the role of governors in promoting effective engagement with employers and the local community
  • Network informally with those interested in FE governance
