Technology and Governance

The Strategic Leadership of Technology and Governance

Download the event flyer here >>

Overview

Maximising the opportunities afforded by technology is a core part of the Government's work to raise standards and support key policies, particularly inrelation to the skills of young people and adults, and to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of colleges.  The focus of this event will be to develop the clerk and governors understanding of the need for the strategic leadership of technology and its likely impact on their governing board and the work of their colleges.  It will not only provide an opportunity to hear from representatives from Becta and OFSTED, but also to learn about the experiences and challenges that other colleges who are part of the Technology Exemplar network have encountered.  Delegates will also have the chance for peer conversations and discussions, together with a change to question our 'expert witnesses'.
