As part of the Leadership Skills for Governance (LSG) programme, the LSG customised consultancy service complements and builds on the LSG workshops, providing focused and flexible support for individual governing bodies.
Main features
The service includes:
- identification and agreement of learning priorities to meet the board's individual needs
- design and delivery of a customised development package
- summary report of what has been achieved and advice on next steps
- flexible duration
- the first 3 days of consultancy time at a greatly subsidised rate
Prices
£1050+ VAT + expenses, in total, for the first 3 days (subsidised rate).
£650+ VAT + expenses per day for subsequent days.
Who is the customised consultancy service for?
This service offers a truly flexible response to the development needs of individual governing boards. What is a priority for one college may not be as important to another.

What does the customised consultancy service provide?
The service offers a flexible, tailor-made development package to individual governing boards, providing an initial 3 days' consultancy time at a greatly subsidised rate.
Boards agree the focus, priorities, methods and duration of the consultancy service with the LSG team.
A full range of topics, encompassing all aspects of corporate governance, can be covered by the LSG team of consultants. Specific examples of customised consultancies are given later in this section.
