Newly appointed clerks, aspiring clerks and clerks in post in need of a refresher.

Overview

Theclerk induction programme has been designed to help the effectiveintegration of new clerks into the role of the clerk to the corporation.

The emphasis of the programme is to provide the clerk with the skills and knowledge needed in achieving good college governance.

The programme will use a mixture of approaches including presentations, working groups and case studies.

Benefits of attending

Delegates will gain a better understanding of:
  • the basic operating framework for college governance
  • the job description of the clerk to the corporation
  • what is good governance?
  • the chair/principal/clerk relationship
  • developing a personal development plan.
