Overview

This workshop will introduce the governance aspects of audit and risk management from basic compliance with the LSC's requirements to the advantages to be gained from having effective processes in place.

Benefits of attending

Sound audit and risk management processes are fundamental to effective corporate governance. Individuals who are involved in either the administration or monitoring of these processes require a firm grasp of the basic principles. This should not only help to ensure full compliance with LSC requirements but also to maximise the benefits that may be derived from effective mechanisms in these areas. This workshop will help those who have a role in the audit and risk management aspects of college governance to understand the compliance aspects and to appreciate the benefits and assurances that can be gained from effective processes in these areas.
